It did so a little over three weeks ago. The reunion with my lovely parents and family was nothing short of delightful. Unfortunately - where my family is concerned - I have not been able to spend as much time as I would have wanted with them because of the work to get the September Issue of Digital Artist Magazine out in the stores.

I am however enjoying being here. Even just to kiss my mom and dad goodmorning and goodnight every day, hear them talk in the background while I work, our dinners together… nothing short of wonderful.

Being here for my family, to love them and give them support when it’s needed, it makes me really happy to be alive.

I hope that you, my beautiful friends, find yourselves enjoying your daily life as much as I am, regardless of what it brings.

May every single one of your days be filled with laughter and love.

Well, in theory I already left. I am, at the time of writing this blogpost, in transit in the airport of Hong Kong. I arrived here a while ago after a 9 hour flight from Melbourne, had a heavenly, refreshing shower and am now enjoying breakfast (a scrumptious fruit platter with freshly squeezed orange juice) AND the free WIFI internet before heading out to Gate 36 t catch my 12 hour flight to Paris, where my sister will pick me up and drive me home! Yes, I am visiting my parents again… and I am staying for two months!

Now that you have a little update, I have an announcement to make. I apologize for not having any graphic to accompany it however it has been a hectic past four days (I got my ticket last Sunday!) and I did not find the time to put one together.

Does not make it any less special though, so here goes:

Coming next week, I will no longer be selling my designs at The Lilypad.

Yes, I am sure you all know I have been pretty inactive the past months, concentrating my efforts on Digital Artist Magazine so I decided to step down from my very coveted spot as a Lilypad Designer. I have had a truly wonderful time there with all the girls, not only are they amazingly talented, they are some of the most wonderful, sweetest girls around.

Thank you to all my customers, you, who have shown me nothing but support and love over the past year and a half. I would not be where I am today if it was not for you.

If there is still some things of mine you did NOT yet pick up, now is the perfect time.

I will now continue my journey to Belgium… I’ll see you on the other side of the world!
